… foundation of the city

Around 75 BC, “civitas pompelonensis,” the city of “Pompaelo,” was founded, taking its name from its founder, the Roman general Pompeyo. During its heyday, Pamplona was a very important city in the northwest of what was then known as Hispania, and corresponds today to the city of Pamplona.

… passion for my land

With the land and culture of Navarra as inspiration, Alberto Flamarique Goache decided to create the POMPAELO wine brand in 1999. His goal was to reflect the high quality of wines produced in the land of his birth, Navarra.

That’s how this journey begins. It is an adventure shared with enthusiasm by several professional friends passionate about the world of wine who have contributed their grain of sand to the project.

“From selecting the best grapes to the final elaboration and design of the product, everything is important and exciting, but the most beautiful and enjoyable thing in the end is being able to share and enjoy it with friends and loved ones.”
